Week 39: Temple Trip✨️ and Half Way There!

  First off, we got transfer news a little early. SISTER CARTER AND I ARE STAYING IN NEWBERRY TOGETHER! Almost all of my companions I've only had for one transfer, so I finally get to keep one around:) We get to be together into the new year! Odds and Ends ---I had a peppermint Wendy's frosty. Yum! ---I found out our friend Raelynn used to call me and Sister Bradshaw Elsa and Anna when she was still here. SO cute! ---Theres a place in Newberry called Pomaria. Apparently the story of how it got its name is a cow named Mary sat on the train tracks. She got hit... so now everyone says "po' Mary..." (like poor Mary) hahaha! ---This old lady said "I like your shoes." She was pointing to my bag, not my feet. She need some glasses... ---Had Low Country Boil for the 2nd time. ---I was corrected by the Southerners that the Thanksgiving green jello is not called that. Week 53: ONE YEAR

Odds and Ends ●So. I'm designated driver. Ahhhh man I miss just contacting in the passenger seat! ●We were trying to get into the church building for DCM, and Elder White threw his keys to Sister Mickelson. Sister Mickelson being the good companion she is, tried catching the keys. And slice. Blood. We run to the bathroom. Gushing. Cleaning. Bandaiding. See the picture below if you're brave enough! Her hand is bruised but recovering! ●There are peach blossoms everywhere! And white blossoms from the Dogwood trees!  ●Keith and Melissa got married! It was cool going into another church! Wow. There were a handful of family members, us, a couple from our ward, and the pastor. It made us feel so blessed! I made it an effort to talk to everyone and meet all of their family. The pastor was kind to us, and even invited us to church. Love ya Pastor Kent!  ●We met a member who has a Book of Mormon themed motor cycle! Hopefully we get to see it someday soon!
