Sister Brooklyn Palmer South Carolina Columbia Mission 2022-2023

This week was a little slower,  but of course I always type forever long emails! Odds and Ends   ●On exchanges to Graniteville, we went to a boujee neighborhood and we were visiting a house that was practically a mansion, and the referral was named Hans. I was like ARE WE IN FROZEN?! ●I went back to the animal collector house in Graniteville... it smelled just as bad as before.  ●Sister Mickelson said her teeth hurt after eating a cake bite... and then she said to her teeth "stop complaining I'm giving you exactly what you want!" ●I forgot last week after our lesson with James and Kristen... I definitely ran over the curb and they definitely watched it happen... and they found a dead cat on the church property and asked to bury it. Wow. ●On Sunday we gave little Charles Nebeker a missionary tag and he's been wearing it around the house, and his mom asked if we could include him in missionary work somehow! Also man I love my comps! Odds and Ends ●Mattie is so sweet. She asked me for my pen. She told me that her pen I gave her last time and her Book of Mormon got stolen by her church members. Anywho, poor lady has short term memory loss. She kept asking us if we're sisters because we look similar🤣 and we told her sisters in Christ.  We sadly can't teach her anymore cause she ain't all the way there.  ●A guy started yelling at us mid prayer "are ya Mormons? Are ya Mormons?" ●Our friends Candece started breaking out into song mid contact... pretty awesome if you ask me. ●This woman in the area found our phone number and called asking for service. We filled a moving truck full of pretty much ONLY empty cardboard boxes. I didn't know that there could be such thing as a cardboard box hoarder. And we dragged the elders into it because we were worried there might be something heavy that we couldn't carry... we could've handled this one on our own. But we were h

We sat by each other the WHOLE TIME!  ●We made chocolate covered strawberries for our zone!  ●Our banana grams tile??? ●IT POURED RAIN... holy it was like being underneath the dumping cup at the Mesquite pool in Arizona.  ●We saw a baby koala at the zoooo! ●We made potato soup and are now accomplished cooks 👍 ●Got a few doors slammed in our faces  ●Daniel gave us cool whiteboard paper 😁 we put it up on our wall!  ●We knocked on the door of someone we were teaching, and his step-dad answered and said he is in jail.... ●A less active member told us "I've had enough of the mormons" while slowly closing the door ●Talking amongst ourselves we kept calling church "Easter church" ●I drove on the scariest muddy road ever and was slipping and skidding.
