Week 15: Goals, Dumdums and Planting Seeds

Y'all know the drill... time for a rundown of the Lord's work progressing in South Carolina! Odds and Ends -After some tips from mi madre, I picked out the most BOMB pineapple  -I made 2 goals at soccer night, one in the right goal... and one in our own... 😅 I was blocking the ball, and somehow my foot was angled just right...it rolled right in -We have probably 15 of  Sister  Ballards Tupperwares from over the past two weeks(she loads us up with leftovers!!!) -We saw a man sitting in the trunk of a car and had to make sure he wasn't kidnapped -SOMEONE pointed to her missionary tag to explain the church she represented... and turns out she forgot to move her tag after the morning yoga session...and had no tag... and looked kinda silly (first time in about 3 months so I'm still proud of myself) -I couldn't walk right for 2 days because I decided it would be good to do 100 calf raises while eating breakfast  -Traffic stopped for a woman ushering a family of ducks thr...

Week 14: Temple, the Ditch and Sunflowers

Okee dokee artichokees!! Its been another blessed week over here in South Carolina. Had some tender moments and some testimony-strengthening experiences. Not a lot of huge experiences and not a super miraculous week. Anywho, all of my progress and trial and improvement is thanks to my glorious Heavenly Father and him leading me. So as you read, know that this is His work coming to pass! The Columbia Temple We had the opportunity to go to the temple as a mission in 3 separate groups over 3 separate days. And OH MY GOODNESS going to the temple as a missionary is such a unique opportunity. We were able to ask questions so many times throughout our time there. The Spirit abounded and I did not want to leave!!! The temple workers had to move us along because we are just soaking up all the peace in the celestial room for as long as we possibly could! Week 13: Beachside Yoga, a Napkin to Remember Me by and a Feast

Otay, this week was definitely one for the books! So many miracles, but only so much typing that I can take... the Lord is constantly blessing us missionaries so I'll just say the bestest ones 🙃😁 Odds n Ends -My future children were named for me...Annabelle and Zakar -I ALMOST got Sister McGhee to swing dance with me  -Shopped for Sister Darden... she is OBSESSED with butterfingers -had breakfast lunch and dinner in the span of 7 hours one day this week -finally got a working scale in the apartment! -I was taught in a self defense class for relief society that a pen is better than a sword and ALWAYS to have pamphlets in hand to throw as a diversion.  -I passed out dead tired after a long day on the couch and Sister McGhee got me a blanket 🥺❤ -dodged Sister McGhee's hydro flask on the treadmill...
