Week 47: DAYTON GOT BAPTIZED

  Odds and Ends ★We knocked on a door and this little boy answered the door with a VR headset on haha! He hit his face with the door because he couldn't see. We said hi and he closed the door and no one ever came back. ★We went to go visit a less active member... there was a TREE growing out of the trailer. Holy. ★I love that people love animals. But there is limit. Sister Hoyal and i went on exchanges to Graniteville with Sister Noel. And we walked up to this trailer. Sister Hoyal is slightly allergic to cats, just gets a little itchy. So i knock on the door and I can SMELL that there are cats inside. She calls "come in!" We open the door. Poisonous smell. We were in there for 10. Minutes. I almost passed out. It was so bad. Animals crawling everywhere. She informs us she has 8 dogs and 11 cats she THINKS. All of them are strays except for 1 dog. We left and we reeked. Week 32: M&Ms, Nun eyes, and Conference!

  Okay. NO time to waste. Into my brain for the past week! Odds and Ends   ---Sister Ramos made BOMB sweet potato brownies that don't use any sugar. Sounds nasty, but they were heavenly  ---I had to clean up dog poop from a couch  -We almost successfully pranked Brother Black with a Halloween toilet cover with spiders on it ---My chair fell over and SLAMMED to the ground when I stood up to bear my testimony for zone conference ---We were in lock down and couldn't leave the house due to Hurricane Ian. We are safe and just had a tropical storm!  ---I saw 2 friends from my high school that are now missionaries in the missionary choir for general conference! Elder Brandon Lee and Elder Harrison Durrant! ---I successfully entertained a 3 year old for 20 minutes with M&Ms ---When we realized we might want to have backup snacks in case we can't go to the store because of the hurricane, we wandered around for a while and only left with our own personal box of Z bars...

Week 14: Temple, the Ditch and Sunflowers

Okee dokee artichokees!! Its been another blessed week over here in South Carolina. Had some tender moments and some testimony-strengthening experiences. Not a lot of huge experiences and not a super miraculous week. Anywho, all of my progress and trial and improvement is thanks to my glorious Heavenly Father and him leading me. So as you read, know that this is His work coming to pass! The Columbia Temple We had the opportunity to go to the temple as a mission in 3 separate groups over 3 separate days. And OH MY GOODNESS going to the temple as a missionary is such a unique opportunity. We were able to ask questions so many times throughout our time there. The Spirit abounded and I did not want to leave!!! The temple workers had to move us along because we are just soaking up all the peace in the celestial room for as long as we possibly could!
