Week 35: AUDREY GOT BAPTIZED!

Odds and Ends
---Sister Carter and I made waffles and eggs for a family, and we were keeping the eggs warm on the stove on low while we finishing baking the waffles. Sister Carter accidentally left the stove on allllll night... it's a miracle we didn't die hehe!
---Sister Carter and I both fit in an industrial size trash bag and there was still more room!
---we dressed up as elders for the trunk or treat hehe!
---I hit 8 months as a missionary!
---Brother Black jumped out and scared us with a werewolf mask
---I was asked if I was married because I was wearing a ring on one hand (definitely my right hand though haha!)
---Found a Lindsay road sign! Love ya mom!
---Audrey had me sing "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" at her baptism!
---One lady gave us her whole Sonic order when we offered to make her some waffles while she was sick
---My little friend Gracelyn RAN up to me and squeezed my leg after church. So precious.
---My cheap carabiner that was holding my already broken bag broke, so I bought a hefty one on pday
--Several drivers flipped us off because Tiwi doesn't let us go faster
Miracles
☆We found a very special family. An excommunicated member bore a SUPER powerful testimony of the temple, and I loved it! I have hope for him, we want to bring him back to the truth.
☆Davarious was the first person to answer the door for a while. He said he would read the Book of Mormon intro and even asked about church! Excited to see where he goes!
☆Khalid is our buddy who wants a stronger relationship with God. He was a miracle, we were straight led to his house. 
☆We had Kimberly pray about the Book of Mormon being true during our lesson. After she said the prayer, she looked up and said it was true! We asked what this meant and she said "I think it means we need to schedule a baptism." AHH! Hopefully coming to you soon.
☆Audrey was BAPTIZED! AHHHH! It was a beautiful beautiful day. And Sister Bradshaw got to come back for the baptism! It didn't have any hiccups and went smoothly. Audrey was GLOWING so bright. She is the most prepared woman I have ever met went it comes to the gospel. She is my home away from home. I love her so so much! I'm so happy she's entered the gate to the path back to God❤
☆The Sherman's haven't been super dedicated it seems. But this past lesson they both had their Book of Mormons out and reading/following along and they are recognizing the blessings of daily Book of Mormon reading. Zack has been interacting more too!!!
Spiritual Thought
God is aware of YOU. Don't believe me? Go pray to him. I know all of our needs can be met through the gospel, and the Lord always provides. Go pray and ask him if he knows you!

Mission Farewell and Open House

My FAREWELL One more week. One more week until I say goodbye to my family for a time. One more week until I put aside all worldly distractions and personal affairs. And most importantly, one more week until I get to spend 18 months as a bigger piece in God’s plan. Teaching, serving, and constantly loving. I’ll get to be upgraded from just Brooklyn Palmer to Sister Palmer. I guess I’ll have to get used to that really soon! While waiting for my mission to start, I had the privilege of being called into nursery, where I was later moved up to Sunbeams, as well as Activity Days. All the Sundays and Wednesdays with these kids have been a huge blessing. In nursery the lessons were short and sweet, their attention spans matching their little size. Week 40: Thanksgiving and Gratitude

Another miraculous week in Newberry! Ahh I'm forever grateful for this town that's grown to be a part of me! Odds and Ends ---Sister Carter tried to drive over a cone but it definitely got stuck under the car ha! ---Found a leaf bigger than my face ---Had red bean paste sesame seed pastry thing. Mm mm. Never again.  ---Had my first actual door slam of the mission. ---We had a member meal with the Morris family. I just love them! We had homemade milkshakes. Right before the spiritual thought, Jaron and Brother Morris got into a little mini wrestling brawl. Brother Morris threw a pillow and it knocked a milkshake over and spilled everywhere. Thankfully it didn't knock over the lamp or glass nativity. Haha! Kinda a fun little moment.  ---We were talking with Henning and Dana on Thanksgiving, when one of the dogs started having a seizure!
