Week 26: 6 MONTHS!

And just like that... poof. I have just under a year left to serve the Lord. I'm going to make the most of every second! I know that everyday, even if no one chooses to listen, I'm still serving God. And that's most important! I'm grateful he's trusted me with His children. I've grown so much on my mission and I know I will continue to as I put my trust in God.

Now I just have to do what i just did 2 more times, but BETTER! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
Okay, into the weekly update! (I know it's all of y'alls favorite part of the week ;))
Odds and Ends
-We went to a farmers Market and a member of the church saw our tags and gave us free homemade rye bread and nutritious brownies!
-My dad was able to send the classic "ballroom ab workout" audio to me and I've been doing it 5 days a week💪
-Sister Dayley made some killer zucchini
-I caught a frog!
-had more cheer wine! (It doesn't have real wine in it don't worry!)
-Had chicha morado (purple corn drink a Hispanic family made for dinner)
-Handed out SO many stickers to so many cute kids!
-Broke my spatula making cookies
-scored the game point playing volleyball! #thatwillneverhappenagain
-we had personal study at a library and left a Book of Mormon on the shelf hehe!
-I listened to my grandpa's conversion story while I got ready to excite me for the day!
-found a car that looks like a hymn book!
Miracles
-Our lesson with Debbie was a miracle! We went in to the lesson thinking we were going to have to take a step back and no longer teach her. We reset and explained our purpose and told her the importance of keeping commitments. She flipped a switch and said she is going to make steps closer to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In her words, she said "I already consider myself a Mormon!" The Spirit was an important factor in this interaction, and we are so happy Debbie still wants to change and grow closer to Christ.
-We stayed safe in the rain!
-We have worthy priesthood holders who were able to give Sister Dayley a blessing when she was sick for 2 days. Such a strong girl!
-We met a few families who haven't been in contact for a while, thanks to Rose Brown and Sister Palmer visiting homes with us! The power of their spirits added the extra boost to be led by the Spirit!
-Its a miracle we didn't die when Rose would back up abruptly when she missed the turn haha!
-Its a miracle in and of itself that we have such a supportive and loving ward. I never want to leave them!
Spiritual Thought
Mosiah 24:15 "15 And now it came to pass that the burdens which were laid upon Alma and his brethren were made light; yea, the Lord did strengthen them that they could bear up their burdens with ease, and they did submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord."
***if you're not familiar with verse 14 right before, go read it!
In this new area, I've had to learn quite a bit of patience. With myself, with my progress, with finding new people to hear God's message, and just patience adjusting all around. It hasn't bene an easy week. But I know as I face the Lord's work with patience, and submit cheerfully to His plan, I will be blessed! And HE WILL CARRY MY BURDENS! He can do the same for you. I CHALLENGE y'all to be more patient this week and see what happens! I can promise you that miracles will occur ♥︎
Toodaloo for now!
